Case Study 03

Client Profile

A qualified Social Worker with experience across multiple boroughs since 2009, seeking to step into a Service Manager position.

Challenges

Although their experience was substantial, the CV lacked strategic framing and did not communicate leadership enthusiasm. The client was unsure how to position their responsibilities, outcomes and cross-borough exposure in a way that reflected progression and managerial capability.

My Approach

I delivered a coaching call and interview preparation session to clarify their value proposition and leadership trajectory. I refreshed the CV’s structure and professional branding, spotlighting team management, inter-agency collaboration and service development. Their multi-borough experience was reframed to demonstrate adaptability, operational oversight and continuous progression.

Outcome & Testimony

The client gained clarity on their career narrative and strengthened their positioning for senior social care roles.

“I really needed this change but didn’t realise it until I saw how competitive the job market has become. This was useful as I needed a new set of eyes to review my career path so far.  I was able to branch out of Team Manager and aim for higher roles such as Service Manager within my field.”
